Update. Mr.Stake passed away this morning. I was able to be there in his final moments after receiving the call. He is and will always be loved and I pray he knew how much. Thank you all for any assistance you're able to provide.

DK94 is also all mechanics, no vibes. Maybe becuz it's a Game Boy game, but compared to that other 1994 Donkey Kong game, it's not aesthetically interesting at all (aside from the awesome boss fights against DK). DK94 opened my eyes to why someone would like Super Mario Galaxy over Galaxy 2.

The level gimmicks and movement in DK94 are fine enough, but I was ready to finish the game about two worlds away from the actual ending. Its gameplay just doesn't have the creative legs to really make use of its runtime. The campaign is 5 or 6 hours long, but it feels so much longer than that.
