I use gender/sexuality labels pretty loosely, “bi” and “trans woman” are truly too small to communicate the vast, shifting, multifaceted things i am. this is true of everyone’s gender and sexuality even if they’re cis and straight. But if i knew “bi lesbian” upset people this much I’d use it always.

this is talk I have with other trans ppl a lot, “trans” is just one aspect of what are wholly unique, individual genders and sexualities that need paragraphs to fully communicate. “gay” “bi” “straight” “trans” “cis” “male” “female” are words to give *others* footholds, not how we define ourselves.
