@adamwills1.bsky.socialI didn't even notice until now that we just had four different papers appear simultaneously on the strong converse for quantum channel discrimination in the parallel setting: arxiv.org/abs/2609.27196 arxiv.org/abs/2609.28635 arxiv.org/abs/2609.29885 arxiv.org/abs/2609.30268
Show PostThanks for coming! Really excited!
Show PostQuantum codes in 2D are pretty simple, they are all equivalent to copies of toric code. In higher dimensions things get a bit wild with multiple types of toric code and infinite families of inequivalent fracton codes. There, the classification question looks a bit like a lost cause.
Show PostClaude is a great collaborator, we wrote this research note together: sunnyzhiyanghe.github.io/files/Notes/Round-robin-CCZ.pdf Disclaimer: No AI models were forced to work overnight during the development of this note.
Show PostI’m starting a blog! Here is the first post: ‘Round-robin CCZ is all you need’. sunnyzhiyanghe.github.io/blog/round-robin-ccz/ It shows a fun observation on CCZ gates, proved by Claude Opus 4.8 and verified in Lean by an auto-formalization model MerLean. The blog has the full story.
