Jacob Frey can say all he wants about how moving buses off of Nicollet Mall will be good; but if he actually cared about transit riders and not just the Downtown Council, he'd be out on the streets listening to..................................transit riders.

It would be a huge difference for me, and I’m fairly mobile outside of the winter

minneapolis is proposing to move nicollet mall transit to one of 3 streets. they have said every single one has a lack of eyes on the street, a safety issue. there’s too little focus on what will be done to improve the transit experience when it moves and this shouldn’t be an afterthought

the city knows exactly who uses nicollet mall transit and where they go with it too. lots of lower income people without cars who use it to shop at target, which got public dollars to be built as well
