I am furious that the government approved Jackdaw - a gas field that will do nothing for jobs, bills, or energy security. This climate vandalism has to stop. The answer is No To Rosebank.
Show PostFantastic too see big numbers of Golden plovers back on the Humber this week - at least 14500 at Stone creek this afternoon and over 4000 in Brough/ Whitton Sands area on Tuesday. The Humber SPA is regularly the most important site in UK for Golden plovers #Eastcoastwetlands @webs-gsmp.bsky.social
Show PostIt only took 10.4 years, but FINALLY balloon releases are banned in NSW (thanks to a massive effort by a community-run org who worked tirelessly on this issue, for free, for over a decade! It should not be this hard to protect the environment, now should it be so reliant on free labor #BalloonsBlow
Show PostReckless for the climate, useless for energy security this decision shows the UK is prepared to gamble with our future and it sends a message out globally that others can do the same 🔥🌍
Show PostThis is truly pathetic from Ministers. Labour’s claim to more than 27 new Jackdaw jobs doesn’t hold up. The green economy is >£100bn a year and growing fast. There is no future in fossil fuels. The Government knows this, but chooses profit for Shell over protecting our climate.
