On a related theme, I'm puzzled why our plng regs/ plng depts insist on commercial units at ground floor on new devts even away from high sts. These invariably are left vacant and, similar to the the empty garages, would be better used as residential space with their access benefits.

When you see a person sitting quietly reading a book, it really isn't an invitation to talk to them. If you must, and that's a big if, do it when they take a break to top off their drink. If they look like me, like, identical to me, do not do it at all. My clones and I hate to be interrupted.
