Truly feels like a Sissuphian task. I always just put it at -35 db to be safe. I rather it be too low than the audience not being able to hear me.
Show PostAgain this might just be me, but the whole "you might be thinking" part followed by bluntly put stupid answer could also be felt as condescending by implying that is the viewer's opinion. The wording on the third paragraph could also be changed around but the overall point is valid, i think.
Show PostMaybe try to not talk directly to the viewer if that makes you a little more comfortable with the script, i.e. change "you" to "a viewer" or "someone watching this video" to shift the focus from seeming targeted to *any* viewer, and not specifically *you* as the only viewer.
Show PostThis way if anyone *were* to have this point of view they self-identify rather than perhaps being called out, and anyone who *doesn't* can mentallh dismiss it as "he wasn't talking to me".. can you tell I'm a bit of an overthinker yet
Show PostLike changing the third paragraph to "if _someone were to_ join the discussion [...] then _they_ may not be able to grasp [...]". Not to say that it *is* condescending in the first place, but it might alleviate some of your concerns
