Angel is the #1 perpetuator of his own misery & it's partially because he enjoys getting to be the victim for once. After experiencing a lifetime of demonization & scapegoating (where he ironically was still the victim) getting to sit in a role where his "victimhood" is "undeniable" is validating

otherwise in a way that PERSONALLY, IN MY OWN PERSONAL OPINION, AS IN MY OPINION AS I ATTEMPT TO ENGAGE MEANINGFULLY WITH THE STORY THAT WE CURRENTLY HAVE PUT OUT IN FRONT OF US AND NOT MAKING ASSUMPTIONS ON WHAT I THINK WILL UNFOLD IN THE FUTURE cheapens what the narrative is trying to drive at.
