Show PostGenuinely I could go on forever about how the policing of presentation has been a weapon against us trans people and our gay brothers and sisters, and how it serves mainly to divide and weaken us. Seeing it done within our own communities by our own people is painful
Show PostMhmhm agreed agreed entirely. The right to be gnc has always been a major lgbt staple, not even just trans people, if you include the work many gay drag queens and butch lesbians who had to fight for the right to wear pants without being sent to an asylum back in the day
Show PostCis people should get to explore their gender and expression just as much as any trans person and feel confident in themselves! Gender expression and presentation without judgement should be available to everyone if we want it to be de-stigmatized!
