What if it not only mattered where and how often you were publishing but also where and how often you were reviewing?? And the quality of those reviews (we rate them all, anyway). The invisible labor done to keep the field afloat should be rewarded by the institutions that contribute to the field.
Show PostI used to feel bad when I would decline peer review requests, but after serving as an AE for less than a month, I am learning that most people simply don’t respond to the review requests. Any response at all feels like a win these days.
