Thus, if you're seeking to abolish the police, you first need to create a community that functions without it, and that planning would first have to be adopted with consent by the very people who wish to create that community. Very interesting and good stuff to think about.

This is how you get that paradox a few years back of "abolish the police" but also, "prosecute killer cops," because abolishing the police would imply that you would not use the same justice system to hold them accountable.
