After a year of practice, today was my hatsubutai (stage debut)! I'm a member of Shubukai, a dance school in Chicago that's part of the Fujima ryu of nihon buyo. Feeling proud of all my fellow students and so grateful to study under our master. Ahh we did it!! 🎊

life in your homeland sucking unimaginably bad is a reality for like. a lot of humanity. even if you live in a comfortable country now statistically your great grandparents prolly lived in a place that sucked unimaginably bad. I like how understandable their problem is from a human standpoint

thinking about how the mamool ja in dawntrail have a plotline revolving around how life in their homeland sucks incredibly bad so they either wage war or escape to tuliyollal and the ones who stay become prisoners of their brutal culture and the ones who leave are just like im never going back ❤️
