Thanks so much Miss you and everyone from that brief chaotic period. That was genuinely fun and yeah, you got the goods. Absolutely had my jaw-hanging the first time we were on camera together with some of the quips you were tossing out.

TechTv was purchased solely for the households it was available in. It was a quick solution for G4 to become big enough to attract more advertisers. X-Play was a value-add, they had zero interest in keeping the other shows. They only did to honor contracts with cable providers.

Fun Fact for those who want to perceive me as a piece of shit: I didn’t contest their claim that I had to move to LA under my TechTv contract they inherited on the condition that everyone who worked on the show was offered a position at G4. Gave up a possible salary increase. I have my moments.

So, the past couple of days have kinda super-sucked for me with this weird “documentary” assessment of my career at G4 and the absolutely unhinged (crash out? Does that apply) reaction from the YouTuber’s enthusiasts. It has definitely turned me into an insufferable solipsistic middle-aged washout

and I don’t think think that’s gonna get better in the immediate future. So I guess I’m posting this as a forewarning that I might be insufferable for some of you in the near future. I’ll try to keep it as entertaining as I can.
