This is a weird statement. I hate how hard it is trying to paint D&Q and Tillie as helpless victims being bullied online and living in Trump's America. I like Tillie. I like D&Q. If they weren't going to back down they shouldve just stuck to an objective defense instead of a sympathy play.

I was pretty swayed by that until I read someone make the point that it’s not the source’s job to make sure proper due diligence was done. It’s the job of the publisher, which they clearly didn’t do. I don’t think it’s Walden’s fault at all though.
