I got an awesome PR for the Mew docs by @philco.bsky.social: a playground that’s a cross between “Try .NET” and the Godbolt Compiler Explorer. You write Mew code on the left and see all the transformation steps on the right. You can also run the code in the browser. mew-lang.org/playground/
Show PostI was supposed to put down new flooring in my office today, but somehow I ended up turning the snake game I wrote about yesterday into a proper game. Music, sound effects, new fruits, adventure mode, high scores, skins, a weather system, death replays, animations... All written in Mew 😍
Show PostI wanted to see if I could build something “real” with Mew, my own programming language, so I wrote a snake game with Sokol (by @flohofwoe.bsky.social) and SDL3. It just graduated from “completely useless” to “fun toy language”. Even the build system is written in Mew. github.com/patriksvenss...
