You could check out UK-relevant teleconnections? I only have access to 12 UK cloud stations thru to May 2026. Annual JFMAM with a split on longitude <-2.5 versus >-2.5 shows: Lon <-2.5 ~ more☁️signal from NAO+ColdBlob. 2026 tops 2025. Lon >-2.5 ~ more ☁️signal from Polar/ Eurasia Pattern. 2026~=2025.

I think it's both? For longterm, nighttime °C are rising faster than daytime °C when GHG send longwave radiation back down 24/7, sunshine irrelevant. For shortterm 6 months, reckon it's weather pattern from the jetstream positions. And more nighttime clouds help GHG in reflecting longwave radiation.
