Yes I am to the point now where I need to quit reading so many sources cuz there’s just not ROOM. I’m cutting so much already, more is like bleeding in front of a shark. I HAVE TO STOP. I hate it but it’s how it is. 🤦🏻♀️

If you have time until the deadline, take a walk, decide a narrower focus, and on return put 2/3rds of your research in another room. If you don't have time, grab whatever is on top of the pile and go for it.

I empathize with you. It's so hard because it's all good stuff. My current system is that I write the too long version and create a separate document called "Cuts for Future Use." It helps me know that what I move there is not lost forever.
