I have fire insurance, homeowners insurance, auto insurance, service line repair insurance. Haven’t made a claim in 40+ years. Am I defrauding these companies? As long as I pay my premiums, they couldn’t care less about me.

I don't understand the beef here. They're mad because people are paying for insurance and not using it? How is that "fraud" and why would they care if the insurance gets used or not, as long as they're paying? Make it make sense.
