The day this album was released, I was sitting in a friend's room in college. He came busting through the door holding a CD (Nevermind) at arms length, and says "This is going to be bigger than Back In Black.". The only time I had seen them live previously, they were Booed off stage after 3 songs.

There was show on tv called room 222 and that was my 8th grade English class. And I feel sorry for anyone who didn't learn typing from someone who spoke in rhythms when they taught. "Place your fingers on the home row keys" indeed.

We dealt with so many situations where our daughter drew such incredibly innocuous shit and the school freaked out that we had to tell our daughter to save her spooky drawings for home and she said “why are the rainbows and puppies kids the good ones? How come I’m not acceptable if I draw ghosts?”

teacher told her it was worthless because it was "Inappropriate for portfolio work" and made her redo the whole thing. Some school systems really can't stand the idea of students discovering themselves. If they can't claim they "made" you, they won't let you succeed at all.
