I do a facts vs feelings session with myself. What do we know versus what we feel or assume. That usually helps me with the decision and determining which part of my mind is controlling the situation.

Run through the what ifs. That usually points to what you’re afraid of. If you can’t isolate a fear, it’s gut. Something feels off is different than I’m scared this might lead to that. Take time. A practice of discernment and risk assessment.
