Like, somehow we just think "no matter what happens proofs and ideas are out there and this is better than the alternative." Surely it isn't hard to imagine a scenario where OpenAI simply doesn't dump dozens of preprints with obvious issues?

OpenAI "just trying to collaborate on a paper" is such sanewashing horseshit. And now we have a bunch of software engineers who act more knowledgable than they are acting like there really is no issue with OpenAI's conduct and it's just Mathematicians clinging to the past like relics. Insufferable.
