Second #sketch pencil control, direction and pressure. You can see where the pencil strokes are too heavy and too clise together. The depth is missing because the whites are gone. So far, I'm doing 2 sketches a week (the water colors aren't here bc, omg) (it's for me) (meeting my goals) #auHD

Also some of the most beloved long term artsyles have a ton of scratchy/sketchy lines :D Akira Toriyama (rest in peace) is a big one, and his style relies on those "mistakes" being there for it to be as iconic as it is <3
