which is amazing because. like yeah, the whole world has a nazi problem. nazis are a problem. but if you go to a bar and everybody there is constantly talking about "Which one of you is a Nazi? Why isn't the bartender doing anything about these Nazis" You might think the problem is worse than it is

the decentralized protocol method might get work. but enough people have got the impression that bluesky is a place for self-righteous dweebs and crybullies they might never try to join anyway. or theyve heard that it has a "nazi problem"

I know the devs are working as hard as they can and trying to maintain the momentum and energy around their platform. but I think they should have pushed back harder against the legacy bluecheck/linkedin/mastodon people. It was obvious they were going to want centralized control from the jump

I really liked this website but the moral panic crowd made it very hard to get good posters here. or normal people in general. so unfortunately Twitter wins this round. things might change with federation. or when the wait-list is opened, or Twitter does another unforced error. rn it's Mastodon 2
