Because my brother lives in Montréal and it is apparently impossible for him to self-motivate learning languages, I have begun learning French with him (and for reasons of mine own). A personal quirk, I’m trilling those [ʀ]-s extra hard. I already have enough languages with [ʁ], don’t need another.

I am sad about having to step back, as I have been doing this since 2020, and I’m concerned about the Seattle Times’ current reporting capacity. Please let me know about things though and I will re-skeet. I will re-evaluate in January when at least my Masters should be done!
