Platner had a Nazi tattoo old enough to vote, and has a history of ableism, misogyny, homophobia, and rape apologia. He also signed up to fight for the war crimes mercenary company. Hey, if that's the sort of person you want to welcome with open arms, have at it.

The thing that gets me about Platner is this: Platner doesn't promise ACTUAL meaningful political opposition. He promises a violent, highly gendered performance folks find soothing. But Mills ACTUALLY defied Trump for minorities and it got her exactly zero "FIGHTER" cred, because Woman and Old.

I think your proclaiming the Nazi with the Waffen-SS tattoo is a good upstanding fellow very different to the feral rabid fascist Republicans in spite of ample evidence otherwise is the reason someone would think you love Platner.
