People are mad at Anthropic for blocking monthly plans from open-source coding assistants, feels like a bait-and-switched. But Anthropic is making bank from the API for enterprise coding clients using Cursor, who can't use e.g. Max plans, they can't just give OSS coding assistants a huge discount.
