I remember when asset flips were a thing...this is much worse. I'd love nothing more than going back to where it was just asset flips, because they had to at least try.

Breaks are a good way to declutter/decompress a bit from a long project and then return to it with a clearer view and new ideas. Can't hurt, anyway.

i'm finally drawing character sprites after doing nothing but writing for the past two months and everything's clicking together really nicely. i drew an accessory on a whim for a certain character because it felt cool but it's become a not insignificant part of the story lol
