Today is metastatic breast cancer awareness day. MBC is the only fatal stage of breast cancer and is currently incurable. It is also the least funded, researched and understood. It's isolating and lonely, but not hopeless! I've lived with it 5 years, metastatic at diagnosis. #FuckCancer #canSky

I asked my local govt to proclaim October 13 Metastatic BC Awareness Day. I know a bit of some on the Board, so I wasnt surprised when they said yes. But I did 🩷 seeing them pin MBC pins on when I finished saying a few words. MBC kills 117/day in the US alone & rates for some are 📈 #canSky #OncoSky
