If anyone dares to mansplain me or dunk on me you will be collected and put out like trash. I've been working ln my book for years-1200 sources. No AI! I know what I am talking about.
Show PostWhat, exactly, do we have as a trait that animals do not? Recursive language is about it, tho even that is debated now. What makes us special? What makes us human?
Show PostIf you want to (rightly!) take away all human description of AIs, then perhaps it is time we take away the idea of "human centered" language compared to animals. Bees dance directions to within feet via GBeeS. Macaques learn behaviors and pass them on. Whales have complex language.
Show PostI love you AP Stylebook, Anthropologist here, and you can anthropomorphize an inanimate object, but as it turns out, humans are not special, and all the studies show animals make tools, houses, communicate, create, and have culture. I am writing a whole book on traits. Animals have them all.
