The message of resisting facism and the socio-political approaches are ones I support. The way the movement got way to comfortable with violence, especially violence in response to what they deemed as "violent speech", which was just speak that's facism adjacent, is where the movement lost me (1/2)

... Living in the PNW, ANTIFA lost me when people in masks flooded in from the suburbs and destroyed our downtowns. + the community's failure to rally against them and the constant minimization of what was happening. Like so many resistance movements, came to resemble what they were resisting. (2/2)
