at peak times they sometimes have staff at the bottom of the escalators shouting: KEEP MOVING!!!! as if they're forcing Yanks out of landers at D-Day. because there's a certain type of casual traveller who will walk off an escalator and instantly stop. no concept of a world existing behind them.
