Picture this: you’re a framer working on the outskirts of Red Deer. It’s -25°C, crisp blue sky. You stop by the Community Kitchen for lunch. Hot bowl of stew + coffee, 100% free. No stigma, no checkout, just neighbours, warmth, and dignity. That’s what a public food network could be in Alberta.
Show PostI want real democracy in Alberta... but the “too many meetings” problem is real. So let's have a 4-day workweek and one "Peoples Friday": time to rest, play with the kids, or be randomly selected to vote on health & public spending decision as part of a council. Not just voting every 4 years.
