You'd usually hold it like writing with any normal fountain pen, so a bit slanted like this: / It'll cause slight variations on different types of strokes, making either thin lines or bolder ones. You can also get creative and be intentional about the line width, sacrificing writing speed for effect

The cardboard band keeping the cartridge from engaging while shipping on mine was the tell, no printing on it. I think they’re better now. Honestly it’s an okay pen. I can switch in a legit Lamy nib and it writes just fine. bleistift.blog/2016/12/fake...
