realized that it's been very hard to make the human looney tunes characters look good in CG like at all, especially Elmer Fudd I'm liking how Daffy Season looks but his model looks rough in that first look

btw shoutout coyote vs acme for having actual color grading and lighting. it's a looney tunes film, they didn't even need to do that. nice to see a 2020's film actually care about cinematography beyond communicating plot or action

Before 2025, I knew Ketchup Entertainment as “distributor of two of the last Friedberg and Seltzer films and a Hellboy film that went unnoticed.” Now it’s “distributor that saved two Looney Tunes films from Warner’s hands”. I’m sure they’re pleased with Coyote vs Acme’s numbers, plus some great PR.

COYOTE VS. ACME is just shockingly good. A tribute to the greatness of Chuck Jones, attached to the kind of solid, funny, properly structured comedy they mostly don’t make anymore. Plays great in a theater. The idea that someone was willing to trade this movie for a tax break is genuinely repulsive
