ALSO the way Karminsky fawns over Daniil and pats him on the head for being a good little Inquisitor if he expresses any doubt in Artemy or rules against him and tries to sympathize with Daniil for how he's been victimized by Artemy too, it's NASTY

Artemy's cold "no need" when Daniil tries to talk to him if he's declared guilty COULD be mad at Daniil if Daniil chose not to defend him, but if Karminsky overruled him, it becomes another way he's trying to cut off Daniil's emotional spectacle so Karminsky can't enjoy Daniil agonizing over it

I could write a billion essays about the way Burda interact during D7, but it's so clear that Artemy is stoic to deny K the satisfaction of seeing him beg for his life AND he's furious that the threat of his execution being used to torment Daniil (who is NOT stoic and IS begging for this to stop!!)
