Listening to people who lived different experiences has been the most eye opening part for understanding privileges. When you never had to justify your identity, limitations or existence that's just the normal state of things.

Since people are feeling this one, an addendum. If someone asks you in a leadership role to explain the concept of privilege: Privilege is the exemption in parts or whole from a "political life." Each piece of privilege that you are entitled to protects you from that part of it being politicized.
