These problems get fixed. ICE vehicles catch fire way more often and have recalls too. Per 100k made, 1500 ICE fires annually, 25 EV fires according to US Ins industry. That's 60x more likely to burn. The media is out to scare people when current vehicles are more dangerous according to the data.

I drive @ 300 miles per workday on an interstate. All along it are a series of blackened spots on the shoulder where trucks have burnt. Every couple of months there is a new spot. Although I see plenty of EVs on the road I’ve never seen one on the shoulder, or even burning.
