also, while they can definitely do a bit of maths, it's fascinating how much variation there is between Bing AI mode, Copilot chat and GPTChat doing some complex interest rate what-ifs (I assume the ordering of the standard formulae matters and it's not important enough to ask for the spreadsheets)

pro tip: if you use the Bing Copilot instead of ChatGPT, use the Copilot interface instead of the AI mode in Bing because the context window on the latter is much smaller. if it can answer straight off it's fine but it flails at followups and falls back on web searches
