In Australia, when a tree is illegally cut down, the local government area or council will put up a giant billboard as an eyesore in its place that says “A tree has been vandalized”. That ensures that no one can benefit from removing a tree to improve their view! Sign stays until vegetation regrows.

I hate bus gates and no amount of operational excellence will change my mind. Serious question, though. Do European airline arrival block times account for bus travel time? If arrival is 10a, but it takes another 20 minutes to travel by bus the actual terminal, was the arrival time really 10a?
