yeah, the ableism is so rampant. i see so many discussions about things that 'point to viktor being trans' that are just aspects of disability they're erasing. like yeah, it's cool ppl can draw lines between the back brace and binders, but it isn't a binder. it's a necessary medical aid.

as a queer disabled person i appreciate posts like this that raise attention—i understand why so many people relate with viktor’s story arc but it frequently feels like people focus on this fanon interpretation of him, meanwhile more than half the fandom ignores or infantilizes his disabilities
