I'm trying to figure out why Lammoth worked for me and Netherwilds didn't. Both could arguably be called meme metal, but I think Lammoth's "gimmick" begins and ends at "this is an album about Bill the Pony" and the rest is just good music. NW is more jokes with some music thrown in. I hate it.
