I need netflix to understand that having movies you have to pay more to access (and don't tell you that until you try to access them) doesn't make me want to pay them more, it makes me want to cancel my existing subscription out of spite

I always kind of read it as elves just having the time to dedicate to whatever it is that they do, so any elf one encounters is annoyingly good at things they enjoy, has spent years figuring out how to do only the things they enjoy, and now only wants to work with others at their same skill level.

I feel Frieren is a good example to look at! Frieren spends 6 months+ looking for a weed, just so she can use a spell to create them under a statue of a dead friend. Her student thinks it’s a bad use of time and not “important” given her power. To her though, that time is so short it’s like a day.
