The one thing I struggle to understand is that people only seem to get this way about building new stuff. Freeing up existing homes works as expected but building new ones drives up prices higher via ??? mechanism. I understand being suspicious of the profit motive, but why the selectivity?

Despite climate change being primarily caused by burning fossil fuels, new LNG projects are still being proposed in BC. BC’s next government must re-establish a comprehensive and credible climate plan and ensure all new resource development projects align with it before approval.
