A Black-capped Chickadee perched next to American Basswood nutlets.

Show PostA Great Blue Heron standing on water lily roots in the rain. This bird had just had a huge fish for a meal; the fish looked like a Bowfin and was around 2 feet long. No photos of that action as the heron flew back into the bushes to eat (wanted to dine privately.)
