Absolutely loved taking a closer look at Herb-Robert today. Not uncommon, but what a beautiful flower. 🩷 I love the hairs growing up the stem and the candy pink and white petals. But I was most intrigued by the reproductive parts of the flower so did some reading when I got home. #wildflowerhour

The drake Scaup still today & 7 Goosander (redheads). Apart from several thousand Woodpigeons the vis mig, as is often the case, largely avoided Swannery airspace. A chunky Dunlin in company with a same sized Green Sandpiper was presumably a large alpina. @joestockwell.bsky.social
