How stable is our sense of touch over time — especially when we're moving? We investigated how tactile perception on the finger changes over time. Participants performed a tactile detection task while either resting or moving their finger, over four sessions across a month.

Key findings: - Tactile sensitivity during resting is remarkably stable over time. - Tactile suppression during movement also shows stability — but with some fluctuations. Perceptual measures were highly reliable across sessions.
