The whole selling point of nondenominational churches is that Jesus brings us together, and because of that, our (racial) differences aren't worth discussing or interrogating. What happens with Black Christians in this space is especially insidious because talking about race hurts their "appeal."

lol the issue is multi-racial churches that don't acknowledge race. These types of churches remind me of the Irish guy pitching Sammy on becoming "one" with the vampires in #SINNERS. The cost of joining a monoculture is always the same: Your distinct identity.
