They really need to have a formal/informal checkbox because it's not just a question of one word - everything connected to the word changes since tu is singular and vous is plural.

I'm using Google Translate a lot to work out how to say certain things in French and sometimes when a sentence involves the second person it chooses the wrong form for what I need (tu vs vous) but it turns out I can get it to use the desired form by ending the sentence with either "buddy" or "sir" 🙃

Yesterday, I was reading a used book from 1959 I bought some years ago, and I found this bookmark, which must have been there when I bought the book. Given the age of the book and Deese at Johns Hopkins, the bookmark would be from the 1960s. Useful advice to students even now. #TimeCapsule
