there's a couple other democrat in leadership that they give extremely begrudging endorsements to (wagner and bowman) and I really wish this transportation disaster had been a bigger focus in the primaries where I think all of these candidates should have been tossed out

And could lead to the problem where Dems get in, not a whole lot changes quickly, and voters reasonably assume they must be corrupt too. Assuming Rs keep doubling down on fascism, this could be very bad. I don't know if we can get voters bought into the bigger project. But I think we need to try.

Good thread. As @volts.wtf points out, the only way for Dems to deal with this is to just plow through it. As I suggest in the piece, Ossoff and El-Sayed seem to understand this. They don't get knocked off course by fake MAGA outrage or media's tendency to launder it. They just run right through it.
