V. impressed with Resurgence's design aesthetics. It feels TNG/TNG movie era, a nice continuation. Every new trek show always feels a bit too keen to change EVERYTHING when more subtle updates works a lot nicer (IMO) New fans dont know any different. Old fans get a kick out of it. Also...the carpet!

This still doesn’t sit right with me, I really don’t like it when the retroactively go back and add in something like Tom Bombadil that’s supposed to have happened in the middle of a movie especially decades later.
